Roughly ages 4 to 12. Every story is written with the sentence length and vocabulary that match the child's age.
Instead of digging through parenting blogs, searching for videos, or trying to track down the “right” book when a hard moment arrives, you get one single story, made for your child, with their name in it. That story is what starts the difficult conversation.
The story is written by artificial intelligence, and we set the rules it follows. Every story is built for the child's age — sentence length, word choice, emotional balance — and written in gentle language. We try to bring the warmth of a fairy tale and the attention of a teacher onto the same page.
Every photo goes through a safety check before it is used, and it is deleted automatically 30 days after the book is delivered.
No. If you don't add a photo, a friendly character is used as the hero; the book still carries your child's name and age.

Only what is needed to create the book and send it to you: your email address, the child's name and age, and the photo if you add one. The photo is deleted 30 days after delivery. Full details are in the Privacy Notice.
No, the book is digital: it opens from the link sent to your inbox. We don't ship printed copies.

Think of the question your child has been asking lately. Each topic falls into one of three layers: layer 1 if it is about their own feelings, layer 2 if it is about noticing a difference in someone else, layer 3 if it is a social reality they cannot solve.
The 35 topics are not all of the same kind: some are about the child's own feelings, some about noticing a difference in someone else, and some about a social reality they cannot solve on their own. Pouring all of them into a single story template was quietly telling the child “you fix this problem” on the third group. Each layer has its own story arc, and each topic its own minimum age.
Layer 1 · 14 topics · from age 4
Bullying, mental health, body image — topics inside the child's own world. It follows the CASEL framework: a hard feeling appears, the child is not left alone with it, makes a deliberate choice, and comes to know themselves as “the child who can do this”.
Layer 2 · 10 topics · from age 4
Respect for difference, gender equality, disability, migration. It follows the Anti-Bias Education framework: the child starts at ease with their own identity, grows curious about the difference, sees the unfairness and takes a small but fair step.
Layer 3 · 11 topics · from age 6
War, child labour, poverty — things no child can solve. The hero does not solve the problem: they witness it, feel it, and do the one small thing they genuinely can. The book ends not with a solution but with a grain of hope.
Every topic has a minimum age: 4 at the earliest, 8 at the latest. Because you choose the topic in the first step, by the time you reach the age step the slider's lower bound is already set for that topic; the upper bound is always 12. Change the topic and the range is recalculated instantly.
The lock has two layers: the slider in the browser is only a convenience, the real rule is on the server. An order below the limit is rejected server-side — no photo is uploaded, no record is opened, no payment link is created.
For three topics (Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Divorced Parents) the story also gets trauma-informed rules: at least one page makes it felt that the situation is not the child's fault, the difficulty is framed as “grown-ups' work”, and the child's day-to-day safety is shown through a concrete detail.

The 40 habits are not all of the same kind. Some are a single bodily action with a result felt immediately; some are a moment of choice and its answer inside a relationship; some are a small thing done in the morning whose benefit comes back later the same day. Each layer has its own story arc and its own minimum age.
17 habits · from age 4
Brushing teeth, washing hands — single-motion habits whose result is felt in the body within seconds. It follows Bandura’s Social Learning Theory (1977): the hero performs the action by name and feels the change in their own body.
8 habits · from age 4
Managing anger, sharing — habits that require an inner moment of decision. It follows Duhigg’s habit loop (2012) — cue, routine, reward. The reward is not in the body but in the relationship: the hero notices the impulse, makes the choice, and gets the answer from another person.
15 habits · from age 4
Tidying up, homework — habits whose result surfaces later the same day. It rests on executive function and delayed gratification: what is done in the morning pays off in the afternoon — and the story never says so. The child makes the connection themselves.
